		Curriculum Vitae Peter Ringens is Head of the Department of Ophthalmology of the VU (Vrije Universiteit) University Medical Center in Amsterdam. He has been President of the Dutch Ophthalmological Society. In the past he served as one of the Dutch delegates on the Residency Review Committee, the Continuous Medical Education Committee and the Education Committee. His specialty is vitreoretinal surgery.
